Nick Marzano
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
My name is Nick Marzano. Originally from Australia, I am a Seattle based writer, Creative Director and independent publisher.
I have over 15 years experience working with many of the best agencies, collectives and brands in the world including Apple, Airbnb, Nike, Adidas, The Guardian, Facebook, Google and Levi Strauss & Co. My work has been awarded at Cannes, One Show, and D&AD.
I am also the founder and independent publisher of Mission Gold, an art magazine exploring street entrepreneurship, creativity, and courage in the shadow economy of San Francisco. The project has been in featured Fisheye, Slanted, and Eyeshot magazines, and on the cover of the New York Times.
My latest editorial venture is FISHO Magazine — an eccentric deep dive into the worlds of fishing.
Community storytelling and reportage are my forte, and I'm keen to cook up some amazing new projects with the right partners.

WHAT I OFFER

My approach is highly collaborative. Working in close concert with strategy, production and other departments, I see this role as a catalyst for creative excellence, champion of ideas and a compelling voice to clients and partners.
CONTENT CREATION
Having written, directed and supervised over 100 commercials and brands films, I have both the vision and experience to turn a great idea into a brilliant execution. I have a network of world-class creative and production talent to scale large projects.
COMMUNICATION CONSULTING
What is the identity of a brand, its narrative and the way it speaks to the world? From core beliefs to the construction of complete messaging architectures, I look for seamless continuity in communication.
EDITORIAL STORYTELLING
I specialize in editorial content and ecosystems. In effect, integrating the DNA of print magazines with digital platforms to create innovative storytelling that captures the imagination and inspires action.
HUMAN INSIGHT
I apply journalistic and experimental techniques including interviews, brainstorms and visual mapping exercises to unearth true and illuminating insights into the human condition.
